Welcome to Will It Fit?, an iOS 18+ application designed to scan rooms using RoomPlan and RealityKit, place virtual furniture, and check spatial arrangements. We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and security. This Privacy Policy outlines our principles regarding user data.

                    Local Processing Guarantee
                    All camera tracking, 3D room scanning, coordinate geometry calculations, and project saves happen strictly on your physical device. We do not transmit your spatial data, layouts, or video feeds to external servers.
                

2. What Data We Process

Because the app runs locally on iOS, the following data is processed only in-memory or saved directly in your device's secure Application Support folder:

Camera & LiDAR Feeds: Necessary for Apple's RoomPlan API to detect walls, doors, windows, and floors. This raw sensor information is processed in real-time and is never collected, stored, or viewed by us.
Room Geometry: The 3D bounding boxes and structural dimensions of your scanned rooms. These are cached locally to generate your furniture layout environment.
Furniture & Budget Details: The custom names, budget limits, coordinates, and purchase priorities you input. These are saved locally as JSON files.

3. No Server-Side Collection

We do not operate a remote back-end database for user layouts or camera data. We do not collect, monitor, sell, or rent your scanning history, room sizes, design preferences, or budget entries to anyone.

4. Third-Party Services

The application is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect anonymous diagnostic information, crash logs, and download statistics as governed by Apple's own Privacy Policy. We only access this aggregated, anonymous information to fix crashes and improve stability.

5. Data Security

Since your layouts, budget lists, and room plans are saved locally in the iOS app sandbox, security depends on the integrity of your iOS device and your personal backup configurations (e.g., local iTunes backup or encrypted iCloud backup). We recommend keeping your iOS device passcode-protected.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
