Welcome to PosturePods. By downloading, installing, or using the PosturePods application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer

PosturePods is a wellness tool designed for personal awareness and postural education. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or musculoskeletal disorder.

• Not Medical Advice: The information and feedback provided by the App are for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or therapy.
• Listen to Your Body: Stop using the App immediately if the posture reminders or head motion feedback cause discomfort, neck strain, pain, headache, numbness, or dizziness.
• Consult a Doctor: Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns, neck or back pain, or chronic discomfort. You assume full responsibility for your physical health and exercise routines.

2. License Grant & Restrictions

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the App on a compatible Apple device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, nor use the App for any commercial or unauthorized purposes.

3. Hardware Requirements

PosturePods relies on motion data generated by compatible Apple headphones (such as AirPods Pro or AirPods Max) via Apple's CoreMotion API.

• You are responsible for obtaining compatible headphones and maintaining their Bluetooth connectivity.
• We make no guarantees regarding the continuous accuracy or availability of sensor data from your AirPods or their impact on your device's battery life.

4. Privacy and Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. All session metrics, notes, comfort logs, and ratings are stored solely on your local device. We do not host or monitor your data.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PosturePods and its developer (Alice Turcanu) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. This includes, but is not limited to, physical injury, neck strain, loss of data, or other intangible losses arising from the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with local laws, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
