PosturePods is a wellness application designed to help you track and improve your head posture using compatible AirPods. Your privacy is a core design pillar of PosturePods. This Privacy Policy details how the app handles your information.

1. Zero Data Collection

We believe that your personal data belongs to you. PosturePods does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.

• No user accounts or registrations are required.
• No name, email address, phone number, or location data is ever collected or tracked by the app.
• No third-party SDKs, advertising trackers, or analytics services are integrated into the app.

2. On-Device Head Motion Processing

PosturePods uses Apple's CoreMotion framework (specifically CMHeadphoneMotionManager) to calibrate and evaluate your head tilt in real time.

• Real-Time Only: Raw motion samples (yaw, pitch, roll) and neutral calibration values are processed entirely in memory on your iPhone.
• No Motion Logs: Raw motion readings are never recorded, cached, or written to your device's persistent storage.
• Hardware Access: The app only accesses headphone motion sensors while a session is actively running and you have granted explicit device motion permissions.

3. Local Session History

To help you track your progress over time, PosturePods saves aggregate summaries of your completed posture sessions.

• Saved Data: Only aggregate statistics are saved (such as session date, duration, posture score percentage, tilt direction durations, count of sustained alerts, movement breaks, session rating, selected mode/purpose, pre/post comfort levels, and custom notes).
• SwiftData Storage: This data is stored locally on your device in a private sandbox using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• No Cloud Sync: The data remains strictly on your iPhone. There is no cloud storage, server backup, or remote sharing.
• User Control: You can clear your entire session history at any time from the settings screen, which permanently deletes all records from your device. You can also export your session history to a CSV file locally if you wish to share it.

4. Third-Party Services

PosturePods operates completely independently of external servers. The app does not communicate with any third-party APIs or cloud hosts, meaning your usage patterns and posture statistics cannot be monitored by anyone.
