1. Information We Collect
HTMLLab is engineered from the ground up to respect developer privacy. We do NOT collect, aggregate, or harvest your personal identifiers, IP addresses, native system configurations, or user-specific activities.
The Application works strictly locally, with the following parameters:
- Personal Data: We do not ask for, store, or transmit name, phone numbers, or account registrations. There are no registration forms within the Application.
- Telemetry & Diagnostics: No continuous analytical trackers (like Google Analytics or Firebase) are integrated. Standard, non-identifying crash logs may be collected through the Apple App Store console if you have explicitly opted into sharing crash reports with app developers.
2. Local Workspace
Any HTML, CSS, and JavaScript lesson drafts you write or edit inside the Application reside strictly within your device's isolated application storage container.
This data is managed in the following ways:
- UserDefaults: Stores non-sensitive interface preferences (such as editor font size, selected color theme, and auto-run configuration).
- Local app container: Your saved lesson drafts are held in the app's standard local storage on your device and remain completely under your control.
- Zero Cloud Telemetry: Your code runs locally on your device and is never uploaded to a remote server.
3. Third-Party Links & Services
The Application does not include a web browser and does not load arbitrary websites. The only external links are to our own Terms, Privacy, and Support pages.
- When you tap one of those links, it opens in your device's default browser, outside of HTMLLab, subject to that browser's privacy policy.
- HTMLLab does not track which links you open and does not load third-party web content inside the app.
4. Data Security
Since your lesson drafts are saved locally, the security of your data relies on your device's operating system security (iOS or iPadOS). We use standard Apple app-sandboxing APIs so other applications on your device cannot read your HTMLLab storage.
We advise keeping your device updated and using standard device encryption (such as iOS Data Protection) to keep your local drafts safe.
5. Your Privacy Rights & Control
Because we do not store or hold your data on any server, we cannot search for, retrieve, or delete your data on demand. You hold full control over your records:
- Resetting Drafts: You can clear your saved HTML, CSS, and JavaScript drafts at any time from the Storage & Cache pane inside the Application's Settings.
- App Deletion: Removing HTMLLab from your device immediately and permanently deletes all associated lesson drafts stored in the local app container.
6. Children's Privacy
HTMLLab does not collect personal information, so we do not intentionally process or retain data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us any feedback via our support channels, please contact us so we can promptly delete that correspondence.
7. Contacting the Privacy Officer
