Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common configuration and usage questions.

How do I connect my own cloud storage?
Go to Settings > Cloud Upload in ScreenshotPro. Select your provider type (AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, or any S3-compatible service), then input your bucket name, endpoint URL, access key ID, and secret access key. All uploads will be directly transferred to your personal storage without intermediary servers.
Where are my cloud credentials stored?
All API keys, endpoint configurations, and secret passwords are saved securely in your macOS Keychain. ScreenshotPro does not store, transmit, or have access to these credentials outside of executing the direct upload requests initiated by you.
How do I grant screen capture permissions on macOS?
Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording. Locate ScreenshotPro in the list of applications, and toggle the switch to the active position. You may need to restart the application for the permissions to apply successfully.
Is my data or usage logged by the app?
No. We have completely stripped all telemetry, logging, and metrics gathering systems from the application. ScreenshotPro executes completely offline and does not record or report your workspace activity or screenshot workflows.
