FileMark: Convert to Markdown
These terms describe the rules for using FileMark, the embedded conversion engine, and the documents you process with the app.
You may use FileMark for personal or business document conversion on compatible macOS devices. You are responsible for the documents you choose to open and convert.
FileMark is built for local, on-device conversion. The app is designed to work without a user account or cloud service. If you choose to save or share converted Markdown, that output leaves the app only through your own action.
FileMark is free to download and includes a limited number of free conversions. FileMark Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or annually, that removes that limit.
If you bought FileMark while it was a paid download, you keep every Pro feature at no extra cost and do not need a subscription.
FileMark includes Microsoft MarkItDown and other bundled components that may be subject to their own open-source licenses. Those licenses continue to apply to the relevant components. You must comply with any applicable license terms when using or redistributing the app or its bundled software.
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Conversion quality may vary depending on the source file. We do not guarantee that output will be complete, perfectly formatted, or suitable for every use case.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
You may stop using FileMark at any time. We may stop supporting or updating the app if needed.
