FocusProtocol is designed to be strict. Once a session starts, you cannot easily cancel it without "failing" the protocol. This is intentional. To force-quit, you may need to wait for the timer to expire or use the emergency exit feature if available (check Settings > Strict Mode).
Ensure you have granted Screen Time Access permissions. Go to iOS Settings > Screen Time > Apps with Screen Time Access and enable FocusProtocol. Also, verify that you have actually selected apps to block in the "Shield" menu before starting.
The Global Pulse represents the collective number of users focusing right now. It is a generated metric designed to give you a sense of community without invading anyone's privacy.
