At FocusProtocol, your privacy is not just a policy; it is part of the protocol. We believe that your focus data is personal territory, and we have no interest in invading it.

1. Data Collection

We collect absolutely no personal data.

FocusProtocol follows a strict Local-First philosophy. All data regarding your sessions, presets, and achievements is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have servers, and we do not transmit your data to the cloud.

2. Screen Time & Family Controls

To function as a blocker, FocusProtocol utilizes the Family Controls (Screen Time) API provided by Apple.

• This permission is used strictly to restrict the apps you select during a session.
• We cannot see which apps you use, your browsing history, or your notifications.
• We cannot see which apps you block. The selection is handled confidentially by iOS.

3. Local Analytics & "Global Pulse"

The "Global Pulse" feature simulates a community of focusers allowing you to feel connected without sharing data. It is a generated metric and does not represent real-time tracking of individual users.
