At AlgoLearn, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information in our mobile application.
We believe in absolute data privacy. AlgoLearn is a localized study application. We do not collect any personal identification information or analytics data, and we do not operate any servers that receive your data. No user accounts are required to use the app.
Learning progress, spaced repetition intervals, reviews, notes, stats, and settings are stored on your device using standard iOS storage. If you are signed in to iCloud, this data is also synced between your own devices through Apple's iCloud key-value storage. That data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy; we (the developer) cannot access it. Backups you export from the app are files you control.
Voice mock interviews are optional and only use the microphone after you grant permission. Your spoken answers are transcribed with Apple's Speech framework. When your device supports it, transcription happens entirely on device; otherwise audio may be sent to Apple to be transcribed, as described in Apple's privacy policy. AlgoLearn does not record, store, or upload your audio, and transcripts stay on your device.
On supported devices, the AI tutor uses Apple's on-device foundation model. Your questions and answers are processed on your device and are not sent to us or any third party.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
The application does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. Your study behaviors, session lengths, and flashcard performance remain entirely private to you.
If you choose to enable Review Reminders, the app schedules local notifications directly on your device. These notifications do not use remote push servers, meaning no notification data is transmitted over the internet.
Since your data is kept on your device and in your own iCloud account, its security of your data relies on the security protocols built into the iOS operating system. We recommend keeping your iOS device updated and using passcode/Face ID features to protect your local data.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy inside the app. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
